Cabin fever got the best of us so we decided to go out. This stuff just isn’t going anywhere.

Thinking about warmer times
We got down to single digit temps last night. There is snow and ice everywhere. It’s almost noon and we have made it all the way to 27 degrees. 30 is the expected high. We have plenty of firewood but I still digress to daydreaming about warmer times. So here are some pictures of hummingbirds that I took from my back deck last summer. Hummingbird
The shot you see when you arrive here is a hummingbird on a branch just off of my deck in Rhododendron, Oregon. I was using a Nikon D600, with available light and manual settings.
